Below, we will explain everything you and the installer will need to take into account during the construction of the pool*, in order to install the FASTLANE® Countercurrent Swimming Equipment.
*NOTE: If you already have a pool and want to install the FASTLANE®, see the following article «Install the Fastlane in your pool in just one day».
The FASTLANE® system can be installed at any time in your pool.
We recommend that if you are going to build a new pool and want to install the FASTLANE® swimming equipment, consider it at the same time as its construction, so you can better integrate the FASTLANE® into the glass.
The Measurements of the Swimming Pool

This FASTLANE® equipment can be installed in any pool, as long as it has minimum internal dimensions (water surface) of:
4.5 m. long x 2 m.
Since the FASTLANE® provides a flow rate of up to 1200 m3/h with 52 fully adjustable speeds, we must ensure that the system can correctly suck in this flow of water, so if we want to integrate it into the pool wall, we must respect minimum dimensions of 60 cm.
Installing the FASTLANE® support on the pool glass
The FASTLANE® is a hydraulic equipment made up of two units: the swimming unit (located in the pool) and the hydraulic motor (located in the technical room/machine room). The two units are interconnected by two hydraulic hoses and grounding.
For the installation of the FASTLANE® in a newly built pool, we suggest placing the support of the equipment in the glass, inserting it into the wall at the time of its construction. Later, once the construction of the pool is finished, and before filling, we will fix the FASTLANE® to the support that we have previously installed.

Leave 2 flexible PVC hydrotubes of Ø 50mm, 1 earth connection and 1 corrugated pipe of Ø25mm.
To connect the two units (swimming unit inside the pool and the hydraulic motor) two hydraulic hoses are used. To the Fastlane Support built into the wall, we must have previously connected two flexible PVC pipes of Ø 50mm. with smooth curves (hydrotube type) to the technical room, and an earthing also from the Fastlane support to the engine room.
Leave a corrugated tube of Ø25 mm. (sheath) for the connection of the LED Display, which must go from the technical room to the desired location (of the Display) near the pool (visible to the swimmer).

Ideas for integration into the pool
When designing your pool, you can decide how the Fastlane will be integrated into it. We leave you several ideas for you to take into account.
